Bidding ends Thursday 10th December 2020 from 10:00am. Lots  1 to 99 will end at 1 minute intervals & Lots 100 onwards will end at 15 second intervals.

Viewing

 

The lots will be available for viewing at Gateway Auctions Ltd, Mitton Road, Whalley BB7 9JU from Monday 7th to Wednesday 9th December 2020 between 9am & 5pm.

 

Deposit

 

We reserve the right to charge a deposit of up to £250 to the credit card the registered bidder has used to register with us. Bidders will be notified by email before this charge is made.

 

Buyers Premium

 

A buyer`s premium of 10% plus VAT will be charged on all lots and all buyers premium is plus VAT .

 

Time Extensions

 

Lots end times will extend to 10 minutes if a bid is made with less than 10 minutes remaining.

 

Payment

 

Payment must be made IN FULL by 5.00pm Friday 11th December 2020. We prefer Bank Transfer as payment method. We can accept card payments up to a value of £1500. Cash payments must be pre-agreed. We are unable to take single cash payments amounting to more than £9000.

 

Clearance

Friday 11th December & Monday 14th to Thursday 17th December 2020 between the hours of 9am & 4pm at Gateway Auctions Ltd, New Garage, Mitton Road, Whalley BB7 9JU

 IMPORTANT CLEARENCE INFORMATION 

If your lots are not collected by 4pm Thursday 17th December 2020 you will be charged storage charges at a minimum of £5 per day per lot. 

VAT and Equipment for Export

 

All lots are subject to VAT at 20%. Any foreign buyers wishing to export goods must inform our office at the close of the auction.

VAT will always be charged on Buyers Premium regardless of Export as it is a service.

 

SOLD AS SEEN NO WARRANTY GIVEN OR IMPLIED

Goods are believed to be correctly described but ALL GOODS ARE SOLD WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY or description as to the condition and with all faults and imperfections. Neither the Vendor nor the Auctioneer, their servants or agents shall be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the buyer arising out of or in connection with any defects or deficiencies in any lots purchased, errors or description in the auction catalogue, any misstatements as to any matter affecting the lots or the failure of the lots to fulfill the functions for which they were intended. Neither the Vendor nor the Auctioneer, their servants or agents makes or gives, nor has any person in the employment of the Auctioneer any authority to make or give, any representation or warranty in relation to any lots.

 

Where we can see any physical faults with the lots, we have described on the lot what we can see, however we have not tested any of the lots and therefore if there are any faults not visible to us then we will not have described them. If the bidder has any doubt whatsoever as to whether the lot is not working then please bid accordingly or don’t bid at all. We recommend all bidders view the lots before bidding where you will be able to do minimal testing of the lots (depending on its size and nature).
